Bio:
Shinya works for the Vesuvus Empire, She's assigned to work under Xushin, though in some circumstances she gets orders from his higher powers.She's very deceptive and great in disguises. (unless she does a mission in a rush) Most of her assignments dont involve her to get into direct combat. but if that should happen, she's pretty strong and able to hold her own amongst group. She's usually assigned to gather information, and for infiltration.
WHile she spends most of her time, with Xushin, or working under him.
Shinya is quite playful, and teasing. And will talk to people as if they were a child quite often. She is amused by seeing people frustrated with her. But if an opponent appears tough, she'll take fights more seriously. With Xushin's stubborn, playful attitude and sometimes making fun of her, they often get into arguments. But it doesnt ever seem to be anything serious, some say they arguments are ways they kind of connect to each other.
As far as Shinya's combat abilities go, She uses two bladed fans. Her strengths are her agility to move and evade, and her use of her dancer techniques. Her dances resonate magical auras which can cast spells from her movements. Such as Dragon's Thunder and Hurricane Sanata. While some dances are fully physical attacks attacking in complex patterns that are difficult to read and block as well as evade.
For her short reach, She can toss her fans, spinning at high velocities similar to a large shurikens which can turn at angles similar to boomerangs. the long blades at each end of her fans she also uses to block incoming attacks from opponents that carry weapons with larger reach such as a spear or sword. She clentches the weapon into her closed fans entrapping the weapon in her grasp temporarily as she gets closer to her opponent, which most the time renders the opponent incapacitated from the attack of her second fan. Her primary combat edge is her ability to take out a group of enemies quickly and effectively.
She wears a corsage of 3 pheonix downs in her barret in her hair. (which is magically enchanted to rid herself of bad status effects) incase of the unexpected. as her spy missions usually have a capability of going wrong, especially in the case she's discovered. (if she uses a pheonix down, it wont be replaced)

History:
Shinya first appeared as an obstacle of Reagen, as he broke into the New Bella Mansion to rescue Kari. (Episode 5) It was her true intention to get him to need to get to Linear Town. As well as test Reagen's combat abilities. (since that its quite rare, someone fights Xushin and lives) since Xushin seemed to had not killed him during thier first battle in front of the Holy Knights Temple (episode 5). Shinya appeared towards him again in a poor disguised as it was rushed and their arrival was unexpected, but seemed to do the trick. She pointed them to the clock tower where she knew the Mayor will give them a quest to rid the zombies that been rising from Linear Sanctuary. That was caused by Hades that Xushin and Shinya summoned there some days ago. (Episode 7) Shinya appeared later again , this time with Xushin and without a disguise, as Xushin revealed his plan to fight Reagen again, and take the destiny pendant. It was an attempt to make him stronger, to give Xushin a good battle. (which everything Xushin has done since after the Holy Knights Temple incident til the Linear Sanctuary situation, had no order to do so from headquarters and done out of his own accord). Shinya hadnt been seen for a while after Xushin and Shinya had to adruptly leave due to a sudden call for a meeting for all the Vesevus Officers.(all episode 7) Shinya's latest appearance was in Ellione Castle. She fought Prince Alan (Son of King Okline III) and Reagen in the courtyard. She infultrated the castle capturing the Chancellor and taking his disguise, only being foiled by the goblin brigade (from episode 15) taking the same disguise to sneak into the castle to fight Reagen and the others. thier disguises became obselete when the real chancellor was found shortly after it became clear that the so called real and fake, were actually both fake. After the rough battle in the courtyard, Shinya's intention was to take Ellia (the princess of Ellione castle) as a hostage to get information on the location of the Earth Crystal which Ellia knew being the descendant of Ellione, an ancient reknown hero from times past, during the battle Reagen and Prince Alan worked together to free Ellia from Shinya's magic trap, Shinya, instead took Alan as a hostage, since she was winning the fight against him anyway. Ellia told Shinya about the Earth Crystal's location, in fear of Alan's well being dispite Alan's plea to not tell. After Shinya got her information and left. Ellia revealed she didnt tell her the secret to getting to the Earth Crystal, telling Reagen and the others instead.(All episode 17). From that point on, it was told they had to go find the Summoner's village Rydia to learn how to access the Earth Temple.

History of Shinyata:
Shinya was born in an unknown village. (now non existant, replaced with a new town now). The village was very poor due to bad drought seasons, and raised taxes from the nearby kingdom. Shinya's parents died as she was at a very young age. The cause, she doesnt remember. She grew up with her best friend Julia who she met on the streets. (Where she lived as well as herself). Julia was abandonded as a child in the streets and did not know her last name. Julia became Shinya's self adopted sister as they became best friends.
They lived a life of stealing, and working for very cheap gil in stores and chocobo stables for passing merchants. As they grew older, around the age of 16 (Julia's 20). They stole an item from a passing merchant they thought was really valuable. The merchant caught them but they managed to get away with the item. The merchant gave them a warning about the item they stole, but they didnt care as they continued running off into the night. They went outside the village away from other people as they investigated the item to figure out about how much the item was worth. The item was infact some kind of jeweled artifact that emitted demonic energy, without it being in its protective case, the demonic energy freely seeped out, attracting demons towards them. They confronted them, preparing to kill them and take the item.
Julia was prepared to fight back as Shinya cowered in fear, not having any real combat training though Julia living in the streets longer appeared fearless and developed ways to defend herself, though it was ill compared to the demons they faced them. The demons was impress that a mortal was willing to stand against them even though there was no chance of them winning. The demon offered Julia power and for her to keep her life if she handed over the item. (they intention didnt mention Shinya as they were intending to kill her). Julia seemed interested, but she agreed only if Shinya would get the same treatment. The demons took them both with them to an unknown place, there they met the person that commanded a large group of demons within the mortal realm. The demon went by the name Kasdaya, the demons referred to her as "Mother".
Julia handed over the Jeweled item to her. Kasdaya, was pleased. And agreed to granting them power. She took her hands, digging them into thier chests as they glowed, a powerful shock of energy ran through thier bodies. The girls felt as if they were dieing. After about an hour. Kasdaya pulled away. Shinya and Julia appearanced changed. Kasdaya transformed them both into demons. She told them the price of thier new demonics. They get thier power from her. After a period of time, they will weaken, and they will have to return to Kasdaya to get more power over time. In turn, that means they had to obey her, and become her subordinates. If they refused, they would get so weak that they will eventually die from being a demon. (What Kasdaya didnt tell is that they are still part human. They can avoid it but turning back human. But they can ever return back to thier demon forms or they will die from not being resupplied with demon power.) She told them, that in due time, thier souls will become demon souls, and will fully become demons (meaning they wont ever be human again.)
Shinya and Julia agreed to become subordinates of Kasdaya, With thier new demon forms, Kasdaya gave them new names. Shinyata and Jewel (taking not the first syllable in Julia's name is "jewel" and in recognition of the demonic jewel they brung her. known to be a jewel fragment instead of a full jewel) WIth thier new powers, "Mother" sent them out to collect for her human souls. (that they can absorb themselfs from humans after their killed) Shinya was very nervous about this, cause she's never killed anyone before and such repeatively and she has a hard time doing so. Mother made it a rule to bring back a certain number (or at this case essence) of souls to her, if the condition isnt met, they wont be fed the nessesary demon power they needed. (meaning they would die if not meeting her conditions a few times). Julia, "Jewel" now. Tries to pep talk Shinyata into doing what she has to. As she usually did before they became demons. Shinyata finally was able to do what she needed to meet her requirments to keep her power and to stay alive.
. Many years later. (Shinyata's age did not appear to change while she was a demon) Shinyata was discovered by Wingard in the middle of the night, as he was assigned to a village to attack, finding it was already attacked. In the wake he found Shinyata,Jewel and a few other demons still left, getting any human souls that were left over. Jewel felt that Wingards soul alone would appease mother for an entire month, the other demons had the same idea and set out to attack him immediately (at this time, being able to form thier own demonic weapons. Shinya developing her dancer techniques with a large demonic fan) Wingard, quickly disposed of the demons, and skewed Jewel into a building wall with one of his spears through her chest with blood staining the wall. Shinyata greatly upset that her sister was dead, began fighting Wingard herself. Shinyata began shouting and screaming as she fought him. Wingard surprised that a demon showed that kind of emotion and sentament was fighting him.
He awakened his dragon form, having his dragon eyes see her spirit and soul. He figured out that she was partly human. Wingard made a deal with her, that he'd spare her, if she joined the Vesevus Empire. In return, he'd also be able to shift her back to her human form. Shinyata hesitantly agreed, Wingard then using his Dragon powers to forcefully revert her back to her human state on the spot. He took flight with his dragon wings, taking her back with him.
Eventually she became a valuable officer for the V Empire.
Years later becoming under orders of Xushin.
Due to being back into human form. She began back on the ageing cycle. Though still part demon, she ages much slower. Its unclear and nearly impossible to tell her actual age, she appears to be about 26, since her aging stopped during her period working for "Mother", her ageing coninued slowly afterwards, coming into the Vesevus Empire 8 years ago, and began working under Xushin 3 years ago, but her actual age depicts being over 50.
